1. About this policy
InstrucTwin is operated by AgentAiLearn for Artificial Intelligence – L.L.C, a company registered in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). This policy explains, in general terms, how personal data is handled on the platform.
The platform is provided to schools, universities and other institutions. In most cases your institution decides what data is put on the platform and why, and we handle that data on its behalf. For that reason, your institution is usually the best first contact for questions about your data. Where an agreement between us and your institution sets specific terms, those terms apply together with this policy.
2. What data we collect
Depending on how your institution uses the platform, we may handle:

This data comes from your institution, from you as you use the platform, and automatically from your device and browser. Please do not enter sensitive information, such as health records, into AI features.
3. Why we collect it and how we use it
We use personal data to:
- create and manage accounts, and let you sign in
- deliver learning content, AI tutoring, assessments and grading
- produce progress reports and analytics for teachers and your institution
- keep the platform secure and prevent misuse
- provide support and improve the platform
- meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to advertise to students.
4. AI features
The platform includes AI features such as tutoring, feedback and grading support. AI can make mistakes, so its outputs are intended to support, not replace, the judgement of teachers and staff. Please check important answers with your teacher.
To respond to a request, an AI feature processes the content you submit. Please avoid including personal details about other people.
5. Students and children
Many users are students, and some are children. Accounts are created and managed by their school or institution, which is responsible for any permissions or consents it needs before students use the platform. We do not use student data for marketing. Parents and guardians should contact their child’s school with questions or requests about their child’s data.
6. Who has access to your data

7. Where we keep it, and for how long
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
We keep personal data for as long as it is needed to provide the platform to your institution and for legal, security and audit purposes. When an agreement with an institution ends, we return or delete its data as set out in that agreement. Data may remain in backups for a limited time before it is removed.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
If a security incident affects an institution’s data, we will notify that institution as set out in our agreement with it and as the law requires.
9. Your rights
Subject to the law and your institution’s agreement with us, you can ask to:
- See and download a copy of your data.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data, unless it must be kept for legal reasons.
- Ask questions about how your data is used, or object to its use.
How to make a request
- Students and staff: contact your school or university. It decides on the request, and we help it carry the request out.
- Parents and guardians: contact your child’s school.
- Anyone else, or if you are unsure who to ask: email support@instructwin.com and we will direct your request to the right place.
We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the platform secure and understand how it is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the platform may not work without the essential ones.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
